The objective of our department is to enable students to acquire technical specialties under the philosophy of enhancing students' creativity and practical training. After this program training students will be outstanding specialists in the field of electronic circuit design, manufacture, measurement, and maintenance of electronic apparatus. |

In teaching and research in our department, there are four major areas, as follows:
(1) opt electronic and semiconductor courses, including optical electronics, fiber optics, semiconductor manufacture, and semiconductor physics
(2) digital circuit design and applications courses, including digital system design, VHDL design, and VLSI design and layout
(3) microwave communication courses, including communication system, high frequency circuit design, and microwave engineering
(4) computer engineering courses, including computer architecture, database system, system program, and multimedia.
